This page explains what personal data Malmö Futsal Club handles through this website and around it, why, and what rights you have. In short: the website sets no cookies and does not track you.
1. Who is responsible
Malmö Futsal Club is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: [email protected].
2. Why we use your data
- Visits to the website: to deliver the pages, protect the site against attacks, and see how many people visit. This is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- When you email us: to answer you, or to prepare an agreement with you, such as a partnership. This is our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Donations via Swish: to receive and record your gift. We do this because the law requires us to keep accounts.
- Players, coaches and board members on the website: to present the club and report on our matches. This is our legitimate interest. Photos are published only with consent.
- Match live streams: we stream some matches live on YouTube and publish highlights. Matches are public events, and it is our legitimate interest to show the club’s matches.
3. What data we use
- Visits: technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you request. The visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) count visits without cookies and without identifying you. We only see totals, such as page views, countries, referring websites and device types.
- Email: your name, email address and message.
- Donations: your name, phone number, the amount, the date and your message. The pre-filled message “Gåva via malmofutsalclub.se” only tells us that the gift came through the website.
- Players, coaches and board members: names, roles, shirt numbers, positions and photos, and match information such as line-ups, goal scorers and results.
4. Where the data comes from
Most of it comes from you. Donation details come from Swish and our bank. Match information comes from the Swedish Football Association (Svenska Fotbollförbundet), which also publishes it.
5. Who receives the data
We use a few service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and visitor statistics), GitHub and Keystatic (storing and editing the website’s content), our email provider, and Swish and our bank for donations. What we publish on the website, on the club’s social media and on YouTube is public. We never sell personal data.
Links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other services take you to their websites, where their own privacy policies apply. We do not embed their content on our pages.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare is based in the USA. Transfers of data there are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses. Read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
7. How long we keep the data
- Email: while the matter is open. We delete the conversation when it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after the matter is closed. Emails that lead to an agreement are kept as long as the bookkeeping rules require.
- Donations: seven years in the club’s accounts, as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires.
- Players, coaches and board members: when someone leaves the club, we remove them from the team pages. News and match reports already published stay as part of the club’s history, unless the person asks us to remove something.
8. Cookies
The website sets no cookies for visitors. If you close the language suggestion at the bottom of the page, your browser remembers that choice in its own storage. It is never sent to us.
9. Automated decisions
We make no automated decisions about you.
10. Withdrawing your consent
Photos are published only with the person’s consent, given on a signed form (by a parent or guardian for players under 18). You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. We then remove the photos from the website and the club’s social media within 30 days. If you appear in a live stream and want a clip removed, contact us.
11. Your rights and complaints
You have the right to get a copy of the data we hold about you, to have mistakes corrected, to have data deleted or its use restricted, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive the data you gave us in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
We update this page when our handling of personal data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
